Non-Resident 3-Day All Game Hunting - Archery/Primitive Weapon (Type 144)
Required for hunting all game and fowl in Mississippi. Includes archery/primitive weapon hunting. Valid for 3 consecutive calendar days (not a 72-hour period).
Non-Resident 7-Day All Game Hunting (Type 141)
This license entitles a non-resident (age 19 or over) to hunt all game and fowl in Mississippi as provided by law for seven (7) consecutive calendar days beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the first day chosen by the purchaser and ending at midnight on the seventh day thereafter. Hunters hunting during special archery or primitive weapon seasons will be required to purchase an archery/primitive weapon permit in addition to this license. Hunters hunting waterfowl will be required to purchase both a state and federal Waterfowl Stamp in addition to this license.
Non-Resident 7-Day Small Game Hunting (Type 134)
This license entitles non-residents to hunt all game and fowl, excluding deer and turkey as provided by law in Mississippi for seven consecutive calendar days beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the first day chosen by the purchaser and ending at midnight on the seventh day thereafter. Hunters hunting waterfowl will be required to purchase both a State and Federal Waterfowl Stamp in addition to this license.
Non-Resident All Game Hunting (Type 140)
This license entitles a non-resident nineteen (19) years of age or older to hunt all game and fowl in Mississippi as provided by law. Hunters hunting during special archery or primitive weapon seasons will be required to purchase an archery or primitive weapon permit in addition to this license. Hunters hunting waterfowl will be required to purchase both a state and federal Waterfowl Stamp in addition to this license.
Non-Resident Archery/Primitive Weapon (Type 132)
This license entitles all non-residents to hunt deer with a bow and arrows or with primitive weapon during special archery/primitive weapon seasons. This license must be bought in addition to either Type 140 (Non-Resident All Game Hunting) and Type 142 (Non-Resident Youth 16-18 Annual Hunting) or Type 141 (Non-Resident 7-Day All Game Hunting) or Type 143 (Non-Resident Youth 16-18 / 7-Day All Game Hunting).
Non-Resident Saltwater Fishing (Type 158)
This license entitles a non-resident to fish in the marine waters of Mississippi. An annual freshwater fishing license (Type 135) is required in addition to this license, if the non-resident's state of residence requires both a fresh and saltwater fishing license to fish in its marine waters. This license shall be valid in any water south of Interstate 10. As of 7/1/94, Louisiana residents must purchase both the fresh and saltwater licenses to fish in the marine waters of Mississippi; residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas must purchase only the saltwater license.
Non-Resident Shooting Preserve (Type 151)
This license entitles non residents to hunt on shooting preserves in lieu of a regular non resident hunting license. This license is valid for the entire shooting preserve season, for the taking of legal shooting preserve game only.
Non-Resident Small Game Hunting (Type 133)
This license entitles non-residents to hunt all game and fowl except deer and turkey as provided by law in Mississippi. Hunters hunting waterfowl will be required to purchase a State and Federal Waterfowl Stamp in addition to this license.
Non-Resident Three (3) Day Saltwater Fishing (Type 159)
This license entitles a non-resident to fish in the marine waters of Mississippi for three (3) consecutive calendar days. The trip begins at 12:01 a.m. on the first day chosen by the purchaser and ends at midnight on the third day thereafter. A Three (3) Day Freshwater Fishing License (Type 136) is required in addition to this license, if the non-resident's state of residence requires both a fresh and saltwater fishing license to fish in its marine waters. This license shall be valid in any waters south of Interstate 10. As of 7/1/94, Louisiana residents must purchase both the fresh and saltwater licenses to fish in the marine waters of Mississippi; residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas must purchase only the saltwater license.
Non-Resident Youth 16-18 / 7-Day All Game Hunting (Type 143)
This license entitles a non-resident age 16 through 18 to hunt all game and fowl in Mississippi as provided by law for seven (7) consecutive calendar days. The trip begins at 12:01 a.m. on the first day chosen by the purchaser and ends at midnight on the seventh day thereafter. Hunters hunting during special archery or primitive weapon seasons will be required to purchase an archery/primitive weapon permit in addition to this license. Hunters hunting waterfowl will be required to purchase both a State and Federal Waterfowl Stamp in addition to this license. Birth Certificate and/or Driver's License are required to prove age.
Non-Resident Youth 16-18 Annual Hunting (Type 142)
This license entitles a non-resident aged 16 through 18 to hunt all game and fowl in Mississippi as provided by law. Hunters hunting during special archery or primitive weapon seasons will be required to purchase an archery or primitive weapon permit in addition to this license. Hunters hunting waterfowl will be required to purchase both a state and federal Waterfowl Stamp in addition to this license. Birth Certificate and/or Driver's License are required to show proof of age.
Non-Resident Freshwater Fishing (Type 135)
This license entitles a non-resident of the State of Mississippi to fish in the public freshwaters of Mississippi, including lakes and reservoirs.
Non-Resident State Electronic Waterfowl Stamp (Type 160)
This license is required of all non-residents who hunt waterfowl in Mississippi. Non-resident hunters age sixteen (16) and over are also required to purchase a Federal Waterfowl Stamp.
Non-Resident 1-Day Freshwater Fishing (Type 137)
Required for fishing in the freshwaters of Mississippi. Valid for one calendar day (not a 24 hour period).
Non-Resident Three (3) Day Freshwater Fishing (Type 136)
This license entitles a non-resident to fish in the public freshwaters of Mississippi, including lakes and reservoirs, for three (3) consecutive calendar days. The trip begins at 12:01 a.m. on the first day chosen by the purchaser and ends at midnight on the third day thereafter.
Resident All Game Hunting/Freshwater Fishing (Type 101)
This license entitles a resident as described under License Type 100 (Resident Sportsman License) to fish in the public freshwaters and hunt with a gun all game and fowl as prescribed by law. An additional Type 102 (Residents Archery/Primitive Weapon) license is required while using a bow and arrow or primitive weapon during special archery or primitive weapon seasons. The State Electronic Waterfowl Stamp must be purchased in addition to this license when hunting waterfowl.
Resident Archery/Primitive Weapon (Type 102)
This license entitles a resident with a Type 101 (Resident All Game Hunting/Freshwater Fishing) to also be allowed to hunt deer with a bow and arrow or primitive weapon during special archery or primitive weapon seasons.
Note: All deer and turkey hunters must buy a Type 100 or Type 101 license. There is no separate big game license.
Resident Freshwater Fishing (Type 104)
This license entitles a resident sixteen (16) years of age and less than sixty-five (65) years of age to fish in the public fresh waters of Mississippi including lakes and reservoirs. No other licenses are required to fish.
Resident Saltwater Fishing (Type 129)
This license entitles a resident sixteen (16) years of age and less than sixty-five (65) years of age to fish in the marine waters of Mississippi. This license is valid for fishing in any waters south of Interstate 10.
Resident Small Game Hunting/Freshwater Fishing (Type 103)
This license entitles a resident as described under Type 100 (Resident Sportsman License) to fish in the public freshwaters and to hunt all game except deer and turkey as provided by law. The State Electronic Waterfowl Stamp must be purchased in addition to this license when hunting waterfowl.
Resident Sportsman License (Type 100)
This license entitles a resident sixteen (16) years of age and less than sixty-five (65) years of age to fish in the public fresh waters only and to hunt all game and fowl as provided by law. This license also allows for the use of primitive weapons and bow and arrows during special archery/primitive weapon seasons. The State Electronic Waterfowl Stamp must be purchased in addition to this license (and the Federal Waterfowl Stamp) when hunting waterfowl. This license must be renewed annually to remain in effect.
Resident State Electronic Waterfowl Stamp (Type 163)
This license is required of all licensed residents to hunt waterfowl in Mississippi. Resident hunters under sixteen (16) years of age are not required to buy this state stamp. All other persons hunting waterfowl are required to purchase the State and the Federal Waterfowl Stamps.
Resident Three (3) Day Freshwater Fishing (Type 105)
This license entitles a resident sixteen (16) years of age and less than sixty-five (65) years of age to fish in the public freshwaters of Mississippi, including lakes and reservoirs, for three (3) consecutive calendar days. The trip begins at 12:01 on the first day chosen by the purchaser and ends on the third day thereafter.
