During this engaging workshop, teachers will discover hands-on strategies for incorporating nature into everyday instruction. These research-based techniques are designed to boost student engagement, improve comprehension, and support long-term retention of key concepts across subject areas.
Bring Your Kids Along!
We're making it easier to attend by welcoming your children (grades 1st-6th) to join you for the day! While you participate in the workshop, your child(ren) will be led by a conservation educator and camp counselors through a fun-filled day of nature exploration, games, and interactive learning activities at the museum. Teachers may bring up to 2 children each (1st-6th grade).
This is the perfect opportunity to grow professionally while your children experience a summer day at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. Come ready to get outside, get inspired, and bring back practical tools that will make a lasting impact in your classroom!
