- DESCRIPTION: Join the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science for a professional development experience like no other! During this two day, hands on training, educators will explore ways to connect students to nature using the nationally recognized Project WILD curriculum. Educators will have the opportunity to work alongside museum naturalists and research biologists to get out into the field and explore standards aligned activities focused on habitats, interdependence, and adaptations. Each participant will receive a Project WILD guide featuring 50+ STEM rich lessons, with 1.0 CEU available upon completion.
- NOTE: This workshop takes place over 2-days and includes a variety of outdoor activities, including field research. Please be sure to bring a reusable water bottle and wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for outdoor field activities. We recommend long pants and closed-toe shoes.
