  • DESCRIPTION: Dive into water education with us as we explore fun, engaging activities that introduce young learners to the importance of water and its unique properties. Activities are simple, flexible, and easy to bring back to the classroom. Getting Little Feet WET is a hands-on Project WET workshop geared towards educators working with Pre-K through 3rd grade. Whether you're new to Project WET or looking to refresh your toolbox, you'll leave with practical resources and ideas to inspire little learners. Come ready to paint, sing, dance, and learn to correctly wash your hands!

  • DESCRIPTION: WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands is an instructional guide that focuses on wetland ecosystems. It provides a resourceful and creative collection of wetland activities, information, and ideas. The workshop will introduce 4th-8th grade educators to the three parameters of wetlands (vegetation, soils, hydrology), wetland functions and values as well as management options all through fun and engaging activities. WOW! is an interdisciplinary curriculum that incorporates wetlands into reading, math, social studies, art or physical education lessons!

This STEAM-focused workshop will provide educators of all subject areas with the knowledge and resources needed to instruct students on water quality, water's incredible journey, water usage, and more. This workshop is geared towards high school teachers for grades 9th - 12th.
