In most cases, a physician or physician assistant to whom a license was issued or renewed during the current licensing year may renew their licenses online.

An email address is required for online renewal. Payments must be made by either Visa/MasterCard credit or debit cards, Discover/American Express credit cards, or electronic check.

If a physician renewal application is made between May 1 and June 30 of the current licensing year, the renewal fee is $200. After June 30, each renewal shall include a $25.00 additional fine plus $5.00 for each month thereafter that the license renewal remains delinquent.

If a physician assistant renewal application is made between May 1 and June 30 of the current licensing year, the renewal fee is $150. After June 30, each renewal shall include a $25.00 additional fine plus $5.00 for each month thereafter that the license renewal remains delinquent.

Physicians and physician assistants over the age of seventy (70) need not pay a fee but must submit a renewal application.

Notice: In utilizing the MSBML's physician license web renewal process, the licensee acknowledges that all information contained in the renewal application has been either directly submitted by the licensee or caused to be submitted by the licensee. The licensee acknowledges that all information submitted is true and correct to the best of licensee's knowledge. Any information erroneously submitted either directly by licensee or at licensee's direction is the licensee's responsibility. Investigations and disciplinary action may result from the knowing or willful failure of licensee to submit information, either directly or indirectly, to the Board or from the submission of incorrect information to the Board.
