A business with which a state agency head is associated through a relative may continue to contract with local governmental entities when the state agency may be required to take actions related to those projects. However, the agency head must fully recuse from any action which would result in a pecuniary benefit to the firm or the relative, in compliance with Section 25-4-105(1), Miss. Code of 1972.
