Please Review Before Renewing Online

To renew online, you MUST still live at the address that is printed on your current license that is expiring. It must be sent to a physical address, not a post office box.

Your new license CANNOT be forwarded to a new address or mailed to a post office box.

Therefore, if you no longer live at the address printed on your current license, or you have mail delivered to a post office box, DO NOT PROCEED. You must go to your nearest driver licensing location and renew in person to change your address.

If you renew online anyway, your license will be returned to MDPS where it will be destroyed. You will still have to go in person to your nearest drivers licensing location and pay an additional $11.00 fee for a duplicate license.

Each transaction is assessed a convenience fee. This fee covers the cost of processing an online payment and is not refundable.

If your picture does not pull over for processing, you will be issued a letter stating that you must come into a driver license station to have your picture taken.
Mississippi Department of Public Safety is NOT responsible for Driver's Licenses or ID cards that are lost in the mail.
