Specialized Treatment Facility

Specialized Treatment Facility (STF) provides psychiatric residential services for up to 48 adolescent Mississippians who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder. Care is centered around evidence-based or best practice models. Adolescents eligible for admission are between the ages of 13 and 18 who present an Axis I Diagnosis of a severe emotional disturbance and need psychiatric residential services. The Facility also provides an alcohol and drug prevention program that is certified by the Mississippi Department of Mental Health.
